Lillafüred es el centro de administración de Miscolc. Es uno de los destinos turísticos del país, con el más bello ambiente natural. Está situado al este de las montaňas Bükk, en el valle del río Szinva. Cerca del pueblo se encuentra el lago Hámori. El lago tiene unos 1.5 kilómetros de largo y 9 metros de profundo.
Miscolc no tiene aeropuerto internacional, el más cercano es el de Budapest o Debrecen. La estación principal de trenes se llama Tiszai. Hay conexión de y a todas las ciudades grandes. Puede llegar a Miscolc por la autopista M3 desde Este. La manera más fácil de llegar a Lillafüred es en autobús no. 5 desde Miscolc. Hay un ferrocarril que conecta Lillafüred con Miskolc, conocido como Lillafüredi Állami Erdei Vasút (Ferrocarril forestal Lillafüred). Tardará unos 45 minutos llegar de un punto a otro. La parada Miscols está situada en Diósgyőr.

Patients with respiratory illnesses are treated here.

is a medieval castle in the historical town of Diósgyőr. In the northeastern tower there is an exhibition of the history of the castle and the Pauline monastery, a weapons exhibition and the waxworks. The north-western tower functions as a looking-tower, with a view on Diósgyőr and the surrounding hills; on the ground floor there is a small mint where tourists can make commemorative coins with their own hands. The south-western tower is in ruins. One of the main tourist attractions of the castle is a larger waxworks exhibition which is one of the largest waxworks exhibitions of Central Europe. It shows six scenes of everyday life in mediaeval Diósgyőr.
